1. Who we are
This website, https://toolsdzire.com (“ToolsDzire”, “we”, “us”), provides free online tools. For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected].
2. Files and text you use with our tools
Browser-based tools. Almost all tools on ToolsDzire, including the PDF, image, video, audio, text, developer and calculator tools, run entirely on your device using JavaScript. The files, text and numbers you enter are not uploaded to us and we cannot see them.
Server-based tools. A few document converters (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint or HTML to PDF) need to process the file on a server, and their pages say so. Such files are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, used only to produce your result, and deleted immediately after the conversion (any leftovers from interrupted conversions are removed automatically within 30 minutes). We do not inspect, share or keep copies of them.
Local storage. Some tools save your work in your own browser so it is not lost if you reload the page (for example, the Word Counter draft). This data stays on your device and you can remove it by clearing the tool or your browser storage.
3. Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our web server records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix errors, and are deleted after a limited period.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our tool pages do not set cookies by default. We may use the following services, and only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner:
- Google Analytics to understand which tools are popular and how the site is used, with IP anonymization enabled.
- Google AdSense to display ads that keep the tools free. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The contact page uses a session cookie that is strictly necessary to protect the form against abuse.
5. When you contact us
If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message. We use this only to reply and to improve our service, and we keep it no longer than necessary for that purpose.
6. Legal bases (EEA, UK)
We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (server logs, contact messages), and on the basis of your consent for analytics and advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California privacy law (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the consent-based advertising described above. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. 8. International transfers
Our hosting and third-party providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
ToolsDzire is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools and services change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
