When is PDF to PowerPoint useful?
- You received slides as a PDF and need to update a few numbers or names before presenting.

- The original PowerPoint file is lost, but you still have the PDF export.
- You want to present a PDF with PowerPoint’s presenter view and notes.
What to expect
A PDF stores the position of every piece of text and graphic, but not how the original slide was built. The converter rebuilds each page as a slide with separate text boxes and images placed in the same positions. That makes text easy to edit, though a heading may be split into several text boxes and bullet lists become plain lines. For PDFs made from PowerPoint, Word or design apps, the result is usually very close to the original.
| PDF type | Result |
|---|---|
| Exported from PowerPoint or Keynote | Very good: editable text, images in place |
| Reports and documents | Good: each page becomes a slide in document layout |
| Scanned pages | The scan appears as a picture; text isn’t editable. Run OCR to get the text. |
How your files are handled
This converter runs on the server rather than in your browser. Your PDF is sent over an encrypted connection, converted automatically and deleted together with the result immediately afterwards.
